This Solid State Relay is a great way to control large external AC loads safely. The input is fully optically isolated from the control circuitry so that you do not damage your microcontroller when things go wrong on the high voltage and amps site. Currents higher than 10A external cooling is required because they can get hot, but they are not expensive, and we do sell them also.
