Sonoff Basic R2 Smart Switch.

The Sonoff BASICR2 is an affordable WiFi smart switch that provides users with smart home control. It is a remote control power switch that can connect to a wide range of appliances. Sonoff Basic WiFi electrical switch transmits data to a cloud platform through the WiFi Router, which enables users to remotely control all the connected appliances, via the mobile application eWeLink. The server is Amazon AWS global server.

Connect your home lights, gate motor, and appliances to this switch and turn them into smart devices instantly. Easily add them to the cellphone app to control the connected devices. You can set timers, and create all kinds of scenarios to have all kinds of super cool home automation functions.

Based on the classic BASIC, SONOFF constantly extends the product category, as well as improves and optimizes product performance in sequence. Ultimately, BASICR2 with ETL certification comes out.  It holds smart features with the previous BASICR2, but a more durable, safer, and better user experience. Its shell is upgraded into PC V0 from ABS which provides flame-resistant and structural stability. With the performance upgrade that passes the harsh electrical environment (temperature and humidity) and tests with 30N pull-push effort, it has great electrical insulation, moisture and dust resistance, and electric shock resistance.

Sonoff basic R2

Sonoff WiFi-controlled switch makes all home appliances smart. As long as the mobile phone has a network(2G/3G/4G/WiFi) connection, users can remotely control the appliances by turning them on or off from anywhere at any time. Another feature available is to set timers for the appliances, which can include countdown/scheduled/loop timers and can thus, help users maintain an easy life.

The mobile application eWeLink enables users to control their appliances easily. The iOS version of the application can be downloaded from App Store while the Android version in Google Play.

Note: SONOFF BASICR2 does NOT have a 433Mhz RF receiver module. If you want an RF function, please buy SONOFF RFR2.
