Kids, start with robotics now & don't get left behind!

Are you looking for an engaging STEAM activity to spark passion for learning in your child? Introducing Jitter, the robotic puppet that makes robotics and coding fun for all.

While your kids dance and jam out with Jitter, they'll be secretly strengthening skills that will give them an edge for tomorrow's opportunities. Through free play with Jitter, they'll grasp core concepts like robotics, programming and computational thinking without even realizing they're learning.

Watch the video below to see Jitter in action! It's the coolest robot that makes learning easy and fun. Get ready to dive into the world of robotics and coding with Jitter

Robotics and coding don’t have to be hard—Jitter makes it super easy! You’ll use blocks, like puzzle pieces, to create your code. As you gain confidence, you’ll tackle more challenging projects and become a true robotics BOSS!

Jitter is the first robot in our XO-range. Since you already have all the required components, future projects are super affordable, costing around R300.00. You can keep building amazing things without breaking the bank!

This little robot comes pre-programmed with lots of fun features:

  • Scare Function: Clap loudly, and Jitter will look shocked!
  • Ticklish Mode: Touch the icon above the LED matrix (its belly) and watch it react.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: Jitter reverses when something gets closer than 5cm to its eyes.
  • Light Sensor: The LED matrix shows a sun in bright light and a red circle in the dark.
  • Dance Mode: Press button B to make the robot dance.
  • Jitter Mode: Press button A to make the robot jitter.
  • Servo Centering: Press buttons A and B together to center the servos.

We also have a Bluetooth app to add even more fun! With the app, you can:

  • Read Sensors: Check temperature, magnetic wave intensity, and orientation with the G-sensor.
  • Control the LED Matrix: Display different arrows and symbols.
  • Send Commands: Make Jitter jitter, shuffle, and perform a little dance with just a tap.

Want to program the robot yourself? Use the MakeCode compiler for easy drag-and-drop coding. It's simple to learn and lots of fun to use!

Easy to build instructions.

Building your very own dancing robot has never been easier! Jitter:Bit comes with all the pieces you need cut out and ready to assemble.

If you get stuck at all, don't worry. Our YouTube channel has super helpful build videos where you can watch Jitter:Bit come to life before your eyes. The instructors explain exactly what to do at each step so you'll stay on track.

The coolest part is seeing it boogie to music once it is done. Give Jitter:Bit a try, I promise you'll love the process.

How the series work

Our XO range of educational toys - as their name suggests- works a lot like XO skeletons, where the initial purchase is expensive, but every member of the range is designed to be cheap after the initial purchase because the microcontroller and a lot of the sensors don't have to be purchased again. The range includes Custom videos. All based on international standards and the CAPS syllabus. We plan to release one toy per month to the XO range which will all work from the app downloadable from the play store. We also manufacture them ourselves making the after sales support very good.

If you have this

and you have this

all you need is this!

Why the microbit?

  • It is beginner-friendly, allowing users to quickly grasp coding concepts and start creating projects
  •  Secondly, it supports various programming languages, including block-based languages like Microsoft MakeCode and Scratch, as well as text-based languages like Python and JavaScript, catering to different skill levels and learning preferences.
  • Additionally, the micro:bit was specifically developed for educational purposes, offering a wide range of resources and tutorials to help students learn and apply coding concepts effectively .
  • Its hardware features, such as an LED display, buttons, sensors, and a built-in compass, further enhance its coding potential.
  • Lastly, the micro:bit has a strong community of educators, programmers, and enthusiasts who provide support, resources, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Overall, the micro:bit's beginner-friendly nature, support for multiple programming languages, educational focus, hardware features, and community support make it the best tool for coding.
