Return and refund policy

Dead on arrival (DOA) products

For an item to be accepted as DOA, we must be contacted within 5 working days from receiving the products. Botshop will test all DOA product for internal damage due to wrong installation or use. If found that the product is a DOA product a new product will be sent to the customer with free shipping. If the product is out of stock Botshop will do a full product refund. DOA products can only be refunded if a new replacement is not in stock or if Botshop can not get a replacement within 3 working days.

Product returns and refunds

Product shipping cost can not be refunded. A product can be returned within 30 days for a full refund under the following conditions:

  • Item(s) must be in original un-opened packaging,
  • The original invoice is required for all returns
  • Return shipping charges are not refundable
  • Returns on items with free shipping will be refunded for the purchase price less the shipping cost originally incurred to send you the items
  • Electrical parts/components/modules and any other products that connect to a power source are
    not returnable ***.
  • Items must be in new condition to obtain a full refund.
  • Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • You must contact us for a Return Authorization before returning any item
  • Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment.

*** Electrical parts, components and modules are subject to internal damage that may not be apparent or tested for. Such damage can be the result of improper installation or subject the part to adverse environmental conditions (heat, static electricity). The item may appear to function properly, but its life may be shortened or the item may suffer from intermittent failures. For this reason, all electrical parts, components and modules are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Wrongly supplied items.

If a product was incorrectly supplied, we must be contacted within 5 working days from receiving the products. We will replace the product at our cost-free of charge. If the item is no longer available we can either create an account credit or refund as desired by the customer.

Item out of stock

We do our best to have our stock numbers as accurate as possible. Sometimes, however, it can happen that a product is shown in stock but is not. In such a case we will inform the customer that the product is not in stock and give the customer the option to:

  1. Cancel the order before we send any items.
  2.  Send the items we have in stock and Bot shop will send the out of stock items at our expense when it arrives.**
  3. Cancel only the out of stock items.***

**Please note that once the in-stock items are sent, our product returns and refunds policy will apply on the send items.
*** Please note that we can only give an estimated time of arrival of out of stock items that can be inaccurate due to many factors related to imports like custom delays and supplier stock availability, therefore the customer may cancel the out of stock items at any time before we send the out of stock item.
