Laser Sensor Module
The idea behind this sensor is to direct a laser beam to the sensor. The sensor will go high (5V) when it receives a laser beam and low when not.
It can be used with a digital port of a microcontroller like an Arduino Uno. This is not an analog device and is intended for easy plug and play installations. It will detect when someone or something “breaks” the beam and thus have application in the security and safety industry.
It’s worth noting that light in general including sunlight etc will affect and interfere with this module. I good idea would be to place the module in a dark box with a small hole the laser beam can get through to eliminate sunlight etc. as much as possible.
