Arduino Live Webinar Workshop: Get up and running with Arduino FAST4 April 2020 Pretoria South Africa
We can not do face to face workshops anymore due to legislation, but we can do it online and live. We wanted to do this for some time now to reach students in other areas in South Africa too.
Our setup will stay the same with the trainer in front of the whiteboard doing training and the assistant trainer helping and answering questions in real-time. These online workshops are not recording; we are live, training, and answering your questions live. The only difference is that you can now do this in the comfort of your own home and have the whole workshop to review if you want.
Creating electronic projects like home automation and building robots has become in the grasp of anybody and not just highly educated electronic guys. From as young as 13 years you can build the most impressive systems for yourself or for profit. What could only be done by very experienced engineers not so long ago can be done and even more by our young generation, hobbyists and entrepreneurs that can now themselves make their ideas a reality.
But… you need to start somewhere, right? Get a solid foundation and a “kick-start” in modern electronics. This course is not about a lot of theory, we do cover that as well but it is hands-on, we will build stuff and you will understand how all this work so you can duplicate what you learned and improve on what you learn.
- Would you like to dive into the amazing world of microcontrollers but do not know where to start?
- Do you prefer personal training from experts in the fields and bombard them with questions that you will otherwise not get answered?
- Would you prefer to learn and get up and running in the quickest possible time and at the same time build some projects all in one day?
What will you learn?
We will cover some theory on Arduino by dissecting the whole board explaining what each of the components do as well as what you can do with a micro controller. We keep it short so we can get into building stuff, that is the best way to learn!
Below is just a couple of things you will learn:
Development and electronics
Uploading your instructions
Reading values from sensors
Turning things on and off
Reading stuff from your Arduino on your PC screen
It’s also an ideal opportunity to get your Arduino questions answered. Hope we will see you on this upcoming course. It will save you days of frustration and have you up and running super fast with Arduino.
Who should attend:
The Arduino workshop is for ages 13 to 70+ or anybody interested in modern electronics and building awesome projects. We assume that you have no prior electronics nor programming experience at all. All you need is an interest in electronics!
When & where is it:
Saturday 4 April 2020. The live webinar workshop will run from 9H00 – 13H00
Class room size
We train a maximum of 12 students. An assistant trainer is in all our classes to ensure each attendee get lots of personal attention when getting stuck.
We do accept attendees from 16 years and older. Younger attendees can be accommodated but must be accompanied by an adult. Children younger that 13 will find it difficult and will find little to no benefit in this course.
What will it cost and what must I bring along?
Cost is R690.00 per person. If you do not have the components listed below you can buy one of the kits listed below from us, we will courier to you free of charge (the free shipping is only valid for course attendies).
We created a special pack that includes: 1x Arduino Uno, 1 x jumper cable pack, 1 x usb cable (30cm), 1 x breadboard, 10 x LED’s, 2 x push buttons, 1 x LDR 10 x resistors and a potentiometer for the course, available for R360.00. (10% off normal price).
The best kit to buy is the Arduino Ultimate kit available on our site. It includes free online training and all the components for more than 25 projects. This is all you need to continue your microcontroller training for a long time. (15% off normal price)
