I need to know what the wattage of this pump is? (I see for instance that the 12v dc water pump (ACT-039) is a 6W, so a 0.5-1A power supply will work fine…)

The pump will run at 500mA. I would suggest a power supply of 1A (1000m), It is twice what you need but it will safe your power supply from running at its highest rating making it last longer.
You can also to bigger in Amps as the motor only uses what it needs. The volts on the other hand should be 12V,, if you go higher with the volts the motor will burn out.
So the specs of the power supply must be 12V and the amps anything higher than 1A.
